Thank you so much for allowing me to share my work with you!
I wanted to share a little bit about what to expect from my blog, not only to help me frame it but to also give you the run down before you dive in.
You're likely to find or not find:
Writing and reading talk: I am a writer which by default makes me a reader. I definitely love to share my thoughts on what books I'm excited about or any writing ideas/tips I might come across.
Faith: I am a Christian, and my faith is an integral part of my identity. It may not be in every post I make, but don't be surprised if it does.
Knitting: I love knitting (as you can tell from some of my stories). I enjoy sharing what I'm working on or things I find. The same goes for other artsy type things.
Mommyhood: As a mom, I love to talk about my little guys and what it's like being a mom. But I'm also not blind to the dangers of the internet and social media, so you won't find their names or pictures here. It's hard for me to restrain myself from sharing their adorableness with the world, but for their own safety, I hold myself back.
Politics and the like: In my humble opinion, the online space in which we now communicate is dehumanizing. I know it's unpopular in this current climate not to let my banners fly, but let's face it...no one's opinion has ever been changed by an online political discussion. We tend to forget that there is a person or human being on the other end of a post or comment. Now, if you want to sit down with me face to face, I would be happy and willing to talk politics. Barring that, my opinions and thoughts could be found in my fiction without looking too hard.
